INTRODUCTION

The six parts that are presented under the heading of the philosophical topics are an attempt to cast some light on some really fundamental concepts. These are: Infinity, Absolute Nothingness, Time, Randomness, and Free Will. The problem that exists in respect of these concepts is that occasions readily arise in which they are either mentioned overtly or exist by implication in respect of what is being said about something else.

I have found that the well established failure to closely examine these concepts often leads to a use of

them in a way in which they are not only invalid themselves, but also automatically invalidate what is being said. This is due to unexamined implications regarding what they are and what they mean.

It is therefore clearly of vital importance to carry out an examination as to how each particular one of them can be validly used or if, indeed, any use of it as a concept can be valid at all.
